Banat El Nile

Banat El Nile, or Daughters of the Nile, was established in 2003 and currently has two principal dancers, Amarna and Kalilah. As well, Daughters of the Nile also has a Lead Performance Troupe.

Daughters of the Nile primarily perform Raks Sharki (which loosely translates to Dance Oriental) pieces but they also take an interest in adding a "modern" flare to the art form of Oriental Dance. Daughters of the Nile also take a keen interest in learning the history and context behind the folkloric pieces they perform.

The dancers or troupes are available for hire and more information can be found on the Hiring Page.
